Thanksgiving in the (other) Mountains

From Atlanta, we drove to Cashiers, NC to meet up with Mike's entire family. We hiked a little, made so many wonderful meals together in the house, shopped and dined in the neighboring town of Highlands, and spent as much time as we could sitting in front of the fireplace and catching up. The cousins were inseparable and absolutely exhausted one another with fun, the weather was beautiful, and it even snowed a bit on Thanksgiving day. It was hard to leave such an enjoyable bubble of family warmth and fun! We arranged for a professional photographer to capture pictures, which made the memories even more lasting.
