Okay Reid: Happy (belated) Father's Day! (and 4th of July, and all that)

Oh boy - have we been busy! Let me begin my catch-up by wishing my sweet husband and my own dear father and father-in-law a Happy Belated Father's Day. We've been in the throes of some housing stress for the past few weeks, but Mike and I managed to get away about three weeks ago to Portland for a long weekend without the kids to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The trip happened to fall over Father's day, so we celebrated both before and after with our kiddos. *Who of course couldn't ask for a more loving, supportive and FUN dad than Mike*. Our trip was great, but especially in times of stress, our focus is turned back toward the most meaningful things in life. We have such gratitude and love for family in general, and especially the incredible fathers in our lives.

Since then, Frances has been in swim lessons twice a week, we've been enjoying some 90+ degree weather in which we've been MELTING, our garden has been growing fast, and the store has been NUTS. We don't even have the patience to stand in line for a sandwich at our own establishment ;) Business is good.

We are grateful at the moment to have Mike's parents visiting, Frances' and Hugh's beloved Gram and Grandpa, who have been total troopers, even taking part in our first year of participation in the Jackson Hole 4th of July parade. That's right, Frances got to ride on a float, wave to people (many of whom were calling her name), and throw candy. Her every dream has come true!

Too many pictures as usual, since I can't seem to carve out time to keep up with the blog more regularly. Hopefully I can get this video issue worked out too, since I've captured some good stuff of Frances swimming.
