We feel so blessed by our latest visitors to Jackson Hole - Frances and Hugh's Gram, Grandpa, and Great Grandmama! They drove from Chicago (Grandmama flew to Chicago from Tampa a week prior), so they experienced a mini cross-country road trip on either end (we so appreciate their effort!).
We packed our few days together full of sightseeing, laughing and catching up on too much time spent apart. It went by too quickly - as always - but we has a blast.
The album really isn't complete without a picture of the moose they FINALLY saw on their last night in town. I'll track it down, but in the meantime here are some of our favorites:
Proud Gram and Grandpa, and their littlest grand baby
Frances learns to do her sewing card bear from Grandmama
The ladies together at the wildlife museum
Buffalo crossing!
Frances and Grandpa wait in line for the tram up to Rendezvous peak
The mule train we encountered on our hike to Phelps Lake
Jan and Grandmama at the antler arches in town
Hugh and Grandmama at the Mangy Moose
Hugh meets Grandpa for the first time...
...and his Great Grandmama
Frances and Grandpa discuss the economic crisis
Taking in the view of Phelps Lake
Phelps Lake - we almost were rained out, but managed to fit in a beautiful hike between passing summer showers
Gram and Grandmama at Rendezvous Peak
Paragliders run off the top of Rendezvous (I'm guessing Grandmama's going to try it on her next visit).
