Frances Loves Her Daddy

Happy belated Father's Day to all the dads!
We had a fun Father's Day weekend, and truthfully are still recovering from an abundance of eating and drinking (and walking and talking and laughing) with friends and family.

Saturday brought surprisingly sunny skies, brunch with friends, and an unexpected afternoon spent at the Charleston, our favorite around-the-corner bar. We hadn't realized they were celebrating their 23rd (?) anniversary with a block party - nickel PBRs, hot dogs on the grill, volleyball in the street... Frances had a blast playing with her buddy Charlie, walking around and making new friends. We were a sweaty and exhausted little family when we finally left the bar for what turned out to be a delicious dinner at our condo with Mike's family.

We were too tired on Sunday to do much but take a walk to the farmer's market and have lunch at the Bristol. It was a little overcast anyway, so we were happy to spend the day refueling.

It's no secret that Frances, Pollock, Mike and I have the best dads on Earth, so it's always a pleasure to celebrate them.

Just a second, I have to make a call...

Hello?

Ooooo girl...

You know it!
