It's Seattle in Chicago so far this Summer. This morning's storm made a particularly fascinating arrival. We heard it in the distance, then saw it grow out of the horizon from the tree house-like windows in our bedroom. Hard as I tried, my camera didn't capture it exactly, but it was a pretty amazing and beautiful thing.
