The weather in Chicago was gorgeous this weekend. It was warmer than it has been for the past few weeks. Why does that always happen on Marathon weekend? Poor runners...
We took Frances to the well-advertised but totally disappointing Bucktown Octoberfest, where we stayed long enough to cash in our beer tokens, eat a brat, and take in a bit of the live "entertainment." It was a gorgeous day, and we didn't stay for long.
We also ventured to the Farmers Market to pick out a pumpkin. I don't think Frances much cared which one we chose, but she cooperated for the photo op :)
