Happy 4th Birthday to our little guy! He weighs as much as his sister (in fairness, that's not hard to do), but has a few inches to catch up with her in height. He adores superheroes, fierce animals, and playing "school," "hunter," "restaurant," "going on a trip," and others in a line-up of high-energy, ever-changing, dynamic role-play games. He deeply loves TV and his Kindle, and is something of a movie expert. He takes an all-boys dance class, gymnastics and skiing (of course). He's a "Lightning Bug" at pre-school, getting better at writing his name, and learning his Zoo Phonics alphabet animals. He has a truly remarkable musical ear, impressive rhythm, and a memory for lyrics that rivals his sister's (and that IS hard to do).
He requested a Batman-themed birthday party this year, and wanted a bounce house and pinata. What the boy wants, he shall receive... this was his first big b-day party! We rented the party room at the rec center, and hosted 16 of his friends. Pretty sure he felt like a superstar, which is all we were going for. Today, he went skiing with Mike, just the two of them. He fell asleep fast tonight :)
