Frances performed in her first dance recital tonight, with Dancer's Workshop at the Center for the Arts. She's been taking classes there for three years already! Hard to believe. She and her fellow dancers did an amazing job, and we are SO PROUD of how hard they've all worked, how much they practiced and pushed through even though everyone was always tired at after-school classes. Frances was admittedly "really nervous" beforehand, but afterward said it was really fun and exciting. They're all stars. It's a big stage. The theater was packed. I'm truly impressed with their confidence. It's due in large part to their incredible teacher Stacy, who is a perfect marriage of sweet and tough, and who has managed to instill a desire to "keep going" in every one of her students.
