Christmas Recap

We had a wonderful Christmas, surrounded by friends and a multitude of social engagements... perhaps a few too many engagements! The store was the busiest it's ever been, and has continued to keep us on our toes with a steady flow of ski tourists. It's been awesome. We're thrilled, and exhausted. With Frances off of school for a two-week Winter break, we've had a lot to juggle.

Frances was the angel in her school's performance of "The Flea on Santa's Tree," which was written by a former teacher and has been performed by the Kindergarten classes at Wilson Elementary for over 20 years! My panoramic shot above did something crazy to cute Santa's face (?!), but there they all are in their costumed splendor, Frances at the far right.

She was so proud to show Hugh her school and her classroom

Great news... video is back!!! Here's the whole darn play. I hope you can hear it!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were gorgeous, sunny, blue-sky days full of celebration. We went to church on the 24th, then out to dinner with the Ryans. As in years past, we also went to their house on Christmas day for an incredible meal and lots of fun.

The kids at church
Santa brought Hugh a fire truck!
Frances asked Santa for "diamonds." Ask and you shall receive!
Tons of American Girl things...
A super cool sled!
Pollock got a toy dino
Lots of work to do, plus more time with the kids on our hands = Many Aspens Market PB&J lunches
Christmas-ed Out

They've both been a little sick. Sweet big sister moment.
