We're titling this post "Memories," because that's all we have of Nina and Poppy's visit last week! I failed again to take any pictures of the crew, and have vowed for the second time to commit to taking more pictures (any pictures!?!?) of future visits. I'm comforted somewhat, knowing that they captured a number of great photos and videos on their camera and phone, of the kids at least!
Aside from my bout with a 24-hour virus, we had non-stop fun for 5 days straight, beginning Thursday night with a Market Table Dinner for the grown-ups. The food was delicious of course, and it was special to be able to bring our close friends together with our parents for some social time at our place of business! We ate at The Q with the kids, hit the library, the park and the toy store, attended the birthday party of one of Frances' classmates... and Nina and Poppy even got to visit the mountain to watch Frances, Mike & Hugh demonstrate their ski skills. Add to that hours and hours of playtime at home, and we're guessing Nina and Poppy slept well when they got back to Indiana!
THANK YOU mom and dad, for traveling to pay us a visit and for giving us so much of your love and time! We miss you as always, but have hearts full of fun memories to float us until we see you again this summer.
