We recently had the good fortune of reuniting for a Sonoma weekend with our longtime friends the Rays and the Summas (who live too far away, in Chicago and San Diego). It was an amazing weekend of eating and drinking like royalty, and making up for too much lost time, finally catching up without having to wear our parent hats. We miss those four so much, and we're indescribably grateful to our dear friends for making the trip possible!
Frances and Hugh stayed behind in Jackson with their Gram and Grandpa for an action-packed weekend of family bonding. We are so grateful for the opportunities we've had to get away from the kids for a couple of days while they and their grandparents benefit from being thrown into the ring together :) And it means that we always get a couple of days with our parents on either end, which we cherish.
