Everyone's a Child at Christmas...

This was the first year that Frances - sort of - understood the excitement of Christmas, and we had a blast sharing it with her! We've been socially busier than ever since moving to Jackson Hole, and this holiday was no exception. We went to church and dinner with our friends Brandon and Katrina (and her family) on Christmas Eve, and again spent Christmas evening with them (and more family and friends), after having the morning to open gifts and rest a bit at home. (Brandon and Katrina's daughter) Maddie and Frances have become inseparable, and it's always so much fun to see them wear one another out.

We Skyped and phoned with our far-away families, which helped us feel like we could share the day, even from a distance. It was fantastic!

Here are a few pictures from the weekend. As always, we realized too late that we should have taken more of Frances and Maddie in their beautiful Christmas Eve and Christmas day outfits, playing together, etc. It seems the moment we leave the house, our ability to reach for the camera completely disintegrates.

The tetons were in clear view on Christmas eve and day. Here they are as seen from the car on the way to the Weiss family Christmas dinner.
