Our annual family vacation to Isle of Palms, SC was another fun and relaxing experience! Frances had a great time playing at the pool and on the beach with her extended family, including her slightly older cousin Tristen. The two of them were too little last year to really enjoy one another, but this year they had a blast. We drove to Charleston several times for shopping and eating, took advantage of the Farmer's Market, and vowed to spend even more time exploring downtown next time. Dinner at McGrady's was exceptional:

There's really nothing like having the beach at your feet, grandparent childcare at your disposal, and a charming, culture-rich city only 15 minutes away!
Frances came down with a fever only two days into the trip, but she was a trooper and managed to enjoy the sun every single day regardless of the fact that she wasn't feeling like her usual self. Her resiliency and good nature continue to surprise us.
We can't thank our family enough for making these fantastic vacations possible!
Below are photos from our library. I plan to add video and some additional pictures from other peoples' cameras in the next week or two, so check back for updates if you'd like.

We celebrated grandma's 90th birthday!

Oh, the many faces of FHR...

We didn't take much video, but just a couple of sweet moments...
