We counted on April showers bringing May Flowers, but we had no idea what a beautiful Mother's Day gift my mom would give us by planting hedges and flowers in the usually abandoned flower boxes lining our lower deck. It was such a great idea and a lot of hard work (thanks again, mom!), and we look forward to enjoying the end result all summer long!
We've officially opened up both decks now to the long-awaited Spring weather.
