My amazing father celebrated his retirement from Butler University this past Friday, with an enjoyable and thoughtful reception organized by his colleagues. We were happy to be able to attend, and are incredibly proud of the many achievements of a man who has never in my presence - or to my knowledge - advertised a single one of them.
Let me tell you - Michael Sells is one accomplished, loved and appreciated educator and musician (and father and grandfather) :)
While in Indy for the festivities (we also celebrated my mother's birthday which was on Thursday), Mike, Frances and I had family pictures taken on the grounds of the IMA by a fantastic photographer. It was a a beautiful, warm Spring weekend. We fit in a lot of quality family time, and spent as many hours as possible outdoors. Here are Mike and Frances enjoying the warmth, and both our babies passed out in the backseat on our drive home today.
