Our little big girl has four teeth and looks to be sprouting more. She's climbing, pushing her toys around while standing up, and occasionally just letting go and standing there for a second or two. She doesn't love to "walk" around while we hold her hands... Crawling is so much easier! She talks a lot about "daddy" and "doggy," but only utters "mama" when she's in a really desperate state. There really are too many new developments to list this month. It seems like she morphed into a toddler overnight. She does something new and surprising almost every day.
We celebrated birthdays a couple of weekends ago (mine early and Jan's late) while grandma and grandpa Sells were in Chicago. It was nice having both sides of the family together. Frances and her dad brought me beautiful flowers (see photo) from our favorite neighborhood florist. We went out for brunch on my actual b-day, and made bison steaks at home that night. Frances has officially tasted and approved her first bison leftovers :)
It was a nice February, but we were definitely excited to see March begin. 18 days until the official start of Spring (not that we're counting)...
