For the entire pregnancy, one of my biggest fears was of the day I'd be responsible for walking the world's most energetic dog and caring for a fragile baby all at once. Just seemed like too many variables for one small woman and three flights of stairs. But today I conquered my fear, and it was such a success that I may never take Frances out of the Baby Bjorn. She loves it, and Pollock seemed indifferent to the fact that our walk was a bit more slow and deliberate than usual. Cross one more piece of new mom anxiety off the list!
